Sharepoint may be an unlocked door for thieves into your business.

Small to medium-sized businesses frequently keep servers on-premises, or onprem, as they grow.

Microsoft has provided updated guidance to the July 18 report of a “zero-day” Sharepoint vulnerability. This means, the vulnerability has been an open door the entire time, specifically, for onprem Sharepoint users.

  1. Keep all servers and individual users up-to-date on patching.
  2. Ensure Microsoft Defender or other AV is patched and fully online.
  3. Have a skilled team of cyber security professionals to verify and remediate.
